Day 1, June 6, 2008: Depart Brownwood 1:00pm

We will pick you up in Brownwood, handle your baggage for you, and drive you safely to the DFW airport, for the beginning of your journey. We will stay overnight at the Hyatt DFW located in Terminal C of the DFW airport.

Day 2, June 7, 2008: Depart Dallas for Vancouver, B.C.

Sit back and relax, as you depart Dallas / Fort Worth Airport and head north to Alaska!

 You will arrive into Vancouver, BC, Canada, where we will check into our room aboard the luxory Diamond Princess. The rest of the evening is yours to enjoy.

Day 3, June 8 , 2008: At Sea (Inside Passage scenic cruising)

Today we will spend the day at sea, as we head north to the inside passage, through the Alaskan waters. This day you will be able to explore your ship, and all it has to offer. With your private balcony,  you will enjoy breathtaking views of spactacular Alaska.

Day 4, June 9, 2008: Ketchikan

Early this morning we will arrive into Ketchikan, southeast Alaska's "First City". This historic city is built over the water, and set in the country's largest national forest. Explore the hand-carved totem poles, or take a stroll down Creek Street. You can venture out on your own, or add a shore excursion onto your trip.

Day 5, June 10, 2008: Juneau

Today we will be visiting Juneau, Alaska's capitol city, and home of Mendenhall Glacier. This city is full of adventures such as flightseeing, sled dog rides, and glacier hikes.

Day 6, June 11, 2008: Skagway

Today we will be visiting Skagway, the place where the prospectors first arrived to find fortune in the gold fields. Here you can visit the Klondike National Historical Park, add a tour aboard the White Pass and Yukon Route Railroad, or you might choose to browse the shops, and old time saloons.

Day 7, June 12, 2008: Glacier Bay National Park

Early this morning, we will be arriving into the amazing and majestic Glacier Bay National Park. Alaska proudly displays her glorious and dramatic scenery here in Glacier Bay. A National Park Ranger will explain glacial phenomena and point out marine wildlife. Sit back, relax, and take in the everlasting beauty that makes up this fascinating place on your full day of scenic cruising.

Day 8, June 13, 2008: College Fjord (scenic cruising)

Today will be cruising the scenic College Fjord, a long narrow arm of the sea. This channel is outlined by mountains, and displays 16 beautiful glaciers. The Harriman Expedition of 1899 named these glaciers after Ivy League colleges. Watch in awe, as these glaciers calve ice bergs into the sea.

Day 9 , June 14, 2008: Whittier Railroad to Denali

Early this morning we will be arriving into Whittier, where you will board the luxury Princess Rail, and travel directly from the ship, deep into the wilderness of Denali area. You will forget the strain of the city, as you relax on the glass-domed railcars, and enjoy the natural wonders Alaska boasts. We will arrive at the McKinley wilderness lodge, where the glowing fire in the walk around fireplace, and the massive timbers offer a warm welcome. With the afternoon at your leisure, choose to relax in the spacious Great Room, bask at the amazing view from the expansive deck, or relax in the Grizzly Bar for a cold drink.

Day 10 , June 15, 2008: Denali / Mt. McKinley

Spend the day at your leisure here in McKinley. Relax in the wilderness lodge, hike among the trails, take a flightseeing trip for a birds eye view of Denali, float down the river on a raft trip, trail horse rides, or try your luck at fly fishing. Coach to Mt. McKinley 4:00pm. Evening at your leisure at the base of Mt. McKinley.

Day 11 , June 16, 2008: Mt. McKinley

Day at your leisure in Mt. McKinley. Coach to Anchorage 1-4:30pm

Day 12 , June 17, 2008: Anchorage

Day at leisure in Anchorage. Depart for Dallas today at 5:35pm

Day 13, June 18, 2008: Arrival back in Brownwood

We will arrive into Dallas at 5:33am, where we will be met by the luxory motor coach to bring us home to Brownwood.
